While often overlooked, the original parts catalog is a great resource for identifying parts of your car and finding the OEM parts number to replace them. (Finding those parts is another story).

Road & Track's Guide to the SVX

An extremely educational and in-depth look at the process of designing and developing the SVX. Get an inside look at prototypes and concepts for the SVX that lead to the car it was released as in 1991 and learn about the design decisions Subaru and Giorgetto Giugiaro made along the way.

Another excellent read regarding the design and development of the SVX. Although not quite as in-depth as the Road and Track guide, it is certainly worth the time to read (or if nothing else, check out the pictures)

David Carter's Audio Wiring Information

David has done an excellent job detailing everything you need to know when it comes to installing aftermarket audio in your SVX. His site includes complete walk throughs of removing and installing a new head unit, as well as wiring diagrams and other helpful info.

Cars101 Full Spec Sheets

A comprehensive specification sheet of all the different options, colors, trims and sales numbers for each year the SVX was sold. With so much detailed information on this website, you can easily learn things about your own car that you didn't already know!

Diagnostics and Data Logging

This website is useful for anyone looking to learn how to pull codes from their Pre-OBDII SVX ECU and TCU, as well as the other onboard system computer modules. You can also take a deep dive into the realm of tapping into the code stored inside these old computers.

SubaruSVX.com

Another website dedicated to general SVX information. This website is more of a time capsule piece now as it hasn't been updated since 2002, but it's worth checking out before you can't see it anymore. Like Cars101, if you spend some time here, you might learn something!

Factory ECU Pinouts (Dropbox)

A helpful Dropbox folder with several useful diagrams for tracing engine wiring and ECU pinouts. Great for troubleshooting as well as planning out your standalone ECU setup!

Hydra Aftermarket ECU Pinouts

A user-made pinout sheet for the Hydra Nemesis ECU. We can't promise that this excel spreadsheet is 100% accurate, but its an excellent resource to start with if you choose to run a Hydra ECU in your SVX
